Criada em 2013, em Porto Alegre, a Hookit é quase uma startup “antiga”. Inicialmente, a rede social voltada ao universo da moda tinha um sistema que recompensava os usuários quando alguém comprava um produto que indicavam. Com um modelo de negócio reestruturado, a empresa promete lançar, até o fim do ano, um “personal stylist online”, garante o CEO Vinícius Dambros.
A nova ferramenta é resultado de um “algoritmo que vai reproduzir o pensamento de um personal stylist, que se baseará no estilo do usuário, a partir do que ele curte no Hookit e em outras redes sociais”, explica Dambros. “Você poderá perguntar o que vestir em um casamento. O algoritmo vai descobrir se você é uma pessoa mais formal ou mais roqueira e sugerir um look”, exemplifica.
Utilizando inteligência artificial, o “personal stylist online” vai aprender com as perguntas. Dessa forma, quanto maior for o seu uso, mais esperta a ferramenta vai ficar, pois poderá identificar padrões de perguntas e armazenar respostas válidas. Atualmente, o algoritmo está recolhendo dados. A ferramenta será uma espécie de Siri, mas as perguntas, ao menos no princípio, terão de ser feitas por escrito.
Monetização ainda existe – Quando foi lançado, o Hookit criou um sistema que recompensava os usuários. Ao localizarem um produto interessante, eles indicavam a seus seguidores que o comprassem. Se uma venda fosse concretizada, o usuário ganhava uma porcentagem do negócio.
Atualmente, esse processo de monetização ainda existe. Contudo, o modelo está limitado a blogueiros selecionados pela equipe do site – que recebe candidatos. Varejistas e marcas também podem ter perfis no Hookit e oferecer seus produtos.
