Muito além do conhecimento linguístico de um idioma estrangeiro, o intercâmbio possibilita ampliar nossa visão de mundo a partir da possibilidade de vivenciar novas culturas e estreitar laços afetivos. Foi nesse clima de confraternização e ‘hermandade’ que os estudantes do Ensino Médio da Escola Martinho Lutero, em Cachoeirinha, receberam 24 alunos e 3 professores do Colegio Los Naranjos de La Concordia (Argentina). O grupo participou do tradicional projeto de intercâmbio da instituição, entre os dias 11 e 16 de setembro. Assim como nos demais anos, os jovens ficaram hospedados na casa das famílias dos alunos, participantes do projeto.
Durante meses que antecederam o intercâmbio, os alunos da Martinho Lutero estiveram em permanente comunicação, pelas redes sociais, a fim de conhecerem melhor os ‘novos colegas’. Os diálogos também oportunizaram a prática das linguagens oral e escrita em Espanhol.
Na chegada, os hermanos foram recepcionados pela comunidade escolar. Após houve um cerimonial para a entrega dos estudantes às famílias que se voluntariaram para hospedá-los.
Uma experiência inesquecível para Milena Cruz Rübenich, aluna do 3º ano do ensino médio, que abrigou em sua casa duas alunas do Los Naranjos. Conforme ela, a família se integrou na programação proposta pelo intercâmbio e foi uma experiência cultural para todos. “Nos primeiros dias tivemos dificuldades para vivenciar na prática a língua, mas que aos poucos foram sendo sanadas. Foram momentos realmente incríveis”, relatou.
No dia seguinte pela manhã houve o hasteamento das duas bandeiras, seguida de integração na sala de aula. Durante toda a semana foram realizadas atividades diversas, começando por um City Tour pela capital gaúcha. Conforme a diretora Eliane Machado a ideia era apresentar a cultura do Estado e proporcionar a troca de experiências entre os adolescentes. Na programação ainda teve um Rafting no município de Três Coroas, oficina de Hockey, Master Cheff na escola, além da realização da Manhã Acadêmica onde as duas escolas apresentaram temas como: economia, agricultura, segurança pública, saúde pública, bullying, entre outros.
Neste dia os alunos da Martinho Lutero fizeram uso de todos os recursos disponíveis para fazer com que os visitantes pudessem levar para suas residências as verdadeiras raízes brasileiras. A diretora acredita que essas experiências de aprendizagem intercultural permitem que os alunos desenvolvam habilidades, atitudes e conhecimentos necessários para lidar com os desafios do mundo contemporâneo. “Dar condições efetivas para que o aluno construa sua própria identidade sócio-cultural a partir do conhecimento das diferenças entre o seu contexto e aquele onde se insere o idioma espanhol”, destacou. Foram dias de muitos sorrisos, experiências e o desejo de um até breve.
